We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things just don't work out. That's why we offer a hassle-free return policy.

Simply let us know within 7 days of receiving your order that you intend to return it, and if approved by our returns team, you'll have another 7 days to send it back to us.

Please keep in mind that many of our pieces are antique reproductions, intentionally distressed and aged to give them an authentic look. This means that imperfections and fading may be part of the design process.

Also, please note that colors may vary slightly from what you see on our website or different electronic screens.

If you're purchasing an item that requires assembly, it's crucial to carefully review the instructions and parts list before you begin. We can't issue refunds for products that have been improperly assembled, nor can we be held responsible for any resulting damage. We strongly recommend hiring qualified professionals to install our products.

Occasionally, we offer outlet products at great prices, but please note that these are typically one-off deals and cannot be exchanged for a brand new alternative.

To qualify for a refund, returned items must be complete, unused, in resalable condition, and with the original packaging. If repackaging is necessary, we reserve the right to charge up to a 50% repackaging fee, which will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that items damaged during transit by a courier organized by the customer cannot be refunded. To avoid any disappointment, we recommend taking out transit insurance when returning items to us.

 

All returned items undergo a quality control check before a refund is processed, so you can rest assured that you're getting the best possible experience with our products.

 

Defects or Missing Components

 

At MidasGB, we take great care to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they're dispatched. However, we understand that on rare occasions, a product may have a defect.

Defects are defined as instances where the product is not suitable for its intended use. (If your item is damaged upon delivery, please send email customerservice@midasgb.co.uk with pictures.

If you encounter any issues with defects or missing components, please contact us through email customerservice@midasgb.co.uk, providing a detailed description of the issue and multiple images to assist us in understanding the problem. We will then work with the manufacturer or supplier to expedite replacement or missing parts to you as quickly as possible.

Whenever possible, we'll arrange for a furniture repair specialist to repair your item. If a repair is not feasible, we'll coordinate the collection of the defective product and send you a replacement.

 

Handling Items during Transit

We perform checks prior to dispatch to make sure the quality of your purchase is in perfect order. However sometimes damage can occur in transit unfortunately.

We ask that items are checked at the delivery point and returned with the delivery company if damages are noticed. We also encourage to sign for the items as damaged if possible.

 

We understand that damages can't always be spotted in full at the point of delivery, so we allow a further 24hrs to notify us of any noticed damages.

If the damage is noticed within this period and has not been sent back with the delivery driver, then please kindly fill in our returns form for us to assist.

Where possible we will work with you on a solution. Be it sending a furniture repair specialist to repair your item on site. A partial refund, or to arrange a free collection of damaged goods. Once we have received the returned item, a replacement (stock dependent) will be arranged at our expense.

Whilst it is rare for damages to occur, we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding in working with us to help get a successful outcome for our customers.

Please note that damage reported outside of the 24hrs period following delivery will be unable to be investigate/resolved.

 

Product Recalls and Returns

In the unlikely event of a product recall, we expect your full cooperation and assistance as necessary to resolve the matter.

Cancelling an order with MidasGB

According to the United Kingdom Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a UK resident, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days.

Please note that this right does not apply to personalized or made-to-order goods. The 14-day period starts from the day the goods are delivered to your chosen delivery address.

If you need to cancel an order that has already been dispatched, you may be charged a fee to cover the expenses incurred by our logistics companies. This fee will be deducted from your refund. If you wish to cancel an order outside of the 14-day period, please refer to our returns policy.

 

How to Return Goods

We also ask that you ensure the item is returned to us in its original packaging, unused and undamaged. Refund Policy

Once your returned item has been received or your order has been cancelled, your refund will be processed within 7 days. We will issue the refund to the original method of payment only, and you will receive an email notification once the refund has been processed.

Please note that the time it takes for the refunded amount to reach your account may vary depending on your financial institution. Typically, refunds are received within 7 days of processing. However, this is something we cannot control.

Delivery Guidelines

 

Here at MidasGB, we are dedicated to providing our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. That's why we offer free standard delivery to UK Mainland addresses on all of our products.

Please note that our free delivery service does not cover Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Islands, and Channel Islands. If you require delivery to these areas, please contact us for a quotation.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, so please inform us if you will not be available on the suggested delivery date, and we will arrange a suitable alternative.

Please note that missed deliveries, despite prior agreement, may result in cancellation or re-delivery charges. In case of late cancellation, where the item has already been dispatched to the courier, a charge will apply for re-delivery.

Once a delivery slot is confirmed, it is your responsibility to ensure that you will be available to receive the goods.

If you miss the delivery, a re-delivery charge will apply. Please also make sure to check that your order will fit through doorways, stairwells, and staircases, including tables with tops exceeding 220cm.

If you are unsure, our team is always available to advise you. In case our team needs to return or use more specialist equipment than the standard two-man crew, a re-delivery charge will apply.

To ensure safety during installation, it is your responsibility to move any pets and minors out of harm's way. Please be aware that due to the weight and size of some of our products, this is important for your safety.

Upon receipt of your order, please inspect it to ensure that it is in good condition. We take full responsibility for any damage found during inspection only upon delivery.
